Instructions
For product set-up*

1.
Be sure that you know the proper setup before you glue the product together. You can stack a few pieces together before actually gluing them to make sure they are placed correctly. Glue as you assemble.

2.   Be careful not to damage the outer edge. O-Rings will chip along the widest edge.
Special care needs to be taken while stacking.

3.   Use a ¼ inch bead of Sikaflex 1A, 1-inch from the outer edge of the O-Ring and other pieces to glue pieces together. Use at least enough Sikaflex to go completely around the top or bottom surface of the O-Ring or product. For planter bases, you can leave a one-inch gap in the Sikaflex for drainage if desired.

4.   Let the Sikaflex 1A set up until it is thick, but tacky, before putting the pieces together. This will allow you to be able to level the product as you are building it.

5.    SikaFlex takes 24 hours to cure. Sikaflex 1A is meant to seal segmented pieces of concrete together not to replace cement mortar. All segmented concrete products that are sealed with Sikaflex 1A should be lifted from the bottom.

6.   If placing the product on soil or grass etc., place on compacted gravel or crushed rock.

NOTE:   For sealing ring ponds, smear ½ of the bead of Sikaflex toward the inside of pond and downward (but not over the edge of the concrete) to seal the Sikafex to the concrete. Do this on each concrete piece. Wait until the bead is tacky and then place a second bead directly on top of the first one. If adding an electrical cord or a flexible drainage tube between two concrete segments, place the cord or drainage tube between the beads of Sikaflex 1A. Add addition Sikaflex 1A under and over the cord end or tube to ensure a seal. To ensure you have a good seal, place a bead of Sikaflex 1A on the seam between the two pieces of glued concrete and smear to both the top and bottom pieces.

*All segmented concrete products including furniture, litter receptacles, birdbaths, and fountains, etc. should be put together with an adhesive or grout.
