Advantages
Center filling allows you to build taller walls and Rings can be center filled as you go.

Length or direction of the wall can be adjusted at any time: Just add more columns!

Make any radius, arc, or corner easily.
Lighter and simpler to place.

Get the base in right and the rest stack easily.

Peterson concrete rings will build a little wall in your yard or a sixty foot high solid concrete column dam.

Wall can be planted. Both sides look great!

Put in wire for lights or pipes for water. Use the hollow center.

Standard Wall Set-up Instructions

1. The width of the trench or gravel base needs to be at least the size of the largest ring used. The base of walls using more than three courses should be buried.

2. Compact the soil in the trench bottom and then place, level, and compact gravel in the bottom of the trench.

3. Place the first course of rings in the trench, inverting every other ring. Level each ring and make sure the top of every ring is flush with the one next to it.

4. Continue to add courses stacking upward until the desired height is reached. Check each course for level as they are added.

5. Check your wall for level. Fill the center of the rings with clean well-graded gravel. Cap or fill with dirt and plant.

6. This system can be used for walls up to 60 ft. tall depending upon the installation method used (see recommended wall heights). Contact an engineer for walls exceeding those shown.

!!IMPORTANT NOTICE!!

Always consult a proper engineer's report for job-specific material and zoning regulation requirements. For walls exceeding 4", contact an engineer and your local building department for exact regulations and requirements.

It is recommended that hand railings always be used in step applications, and that safety railings be used in all wall applications where people can access the top of the wall.
